The Gnostic Discussion Circle will feature open discussion within the group. We will have various topics up for discussion including current events, Gnostic Logions, and other appropriate topics.  In addition there will be a time of sharing for anyone who wishes to participate.  We will also be adding crafts & projects to the agenda.


Shabbat Celebration- 3nd Sundays 3-5 PM (Austin)

The Shabbat Celebration is a time to celebrate our spirituality.  This meeting will feature Wedding Feast (Sophian Gnostic Communion), prayer, simple meditation, and a brief discourse on a Gnostic topic.

Sophian Gnostic Study - 4th Saturdays 4-6 PM (Austin)

During our Sophian Gnostic Study classes will be held on various aspects of Sophian Gnosticism.  This will include Kabbalah, Netivah, Nature of the Soul, Interior Stars, Sophian practices, and will usually include meditation.  Anyone wishing to become an initiate should attend these classes.

St. Mary Magdalene Study - 1st & 3rd Saturdays 4-6 PM (Dallas)

Sister Renee is the Circle leader for the Magdalene Circle branch in Dallas, Texas.  The group is currently studying St. Mary Magdalene by Tau Malachi.  Brother Mark+ will come to Dallas from time-to-time to present special topics in Sophian Gnosticism.

Distance Attendance

Starting in September we will be offering distance attendance for some of our meetings.  For more information Email Brother Mark+ or Sister Renee for more information.  To attend, you will need an internet enabled PC, download of the Skype software, and speakers.  To participate in discussion, you will also need a microphone.

Magdalene Circle Austin is going to begin exploring the Sophian Orders.  Anyone who is a Companion, regularly attends, or is being mentored can participate.  The orders are as follows:

Order of St. Michael - The Templar and Spiritual Warrior
Order of St. Raphael - The Healing Way
Order of St. Uriel - The Way of Wonderworking (lead by Mark+)

The Sophian High Holy Days are all based on the Solar Calendar.   The list below is a basic list of the 8 major Holy days we celebrate.

Winter Solstice: This is our New Years, and the theme is the Feast of The Divine Mother and Child.

February 2nd: The theme of this Holy Day is the Feast of the Prophet, John the Baptist; the Feast of the Extension of Light.

Vernal Equinox: The theme of this Holy Day is the Feast of the Crucifixion and Resurrection; the Feast of the Risen Savior.

May 1st: The theme of this Holy Day is the Feast of the Holy Bride, St. Mary Magdalene, or the Feast of the First Apostle.

Summer Solstice: The theme of this Holy Day is the Feast of the Ascension and Pentecost; the Feast of the Pleroma of Light.

August 2nd: The theme of this Holy Day is the Feast of the Apostolic Succession, the Feast of the Gnostic and Light-transmission.

Autumnal Equinox: The theme of this Holy Day is the Feast of the Apocalypse; Feast of the Second Coming.

October 31st: The theme of this Holy Day is the Feast of the Blessed Dead; the Feast of the Day of Be-With-Us; alternatively it may also be called the Feast of St. Lazarus.
